“I feel really confident about the students coming out of the AE program. I know that the students will be prepared and well-rounded, and I don’t have to get them up to date on the industry; they know it and can jump right in.”
Michael Joaquino, TLC Engineering Solutions
BAE 2017, Mechanical Option
“I like the cross-disciplinary knowledge that is shared with the students, and the practical applications that the professors bring, a lot of whom have worked in industry. I have hired Penn State AEs because I know they’ll be working productively in the office immediately, whereas when hiring from other programs, there can be a long training process.”
Karen Murphy, HDR
BAE 1989, Lighting/Electrical Option
